Health Transition Team

On April 28, 2020, the COVID-19 Health Transition Team appointed by Mayor Ron Nirenberg and County Judge Nelson Wolff released a multi-phase plan for reopening our community as safely as possible.

The plan offers guidance based on public health evidence, data, and expertise to re-open San Antonio and Bexar County.

Economic Transition Team

On May 5, 2020, the COVID-19 Economic Transition Team appointed by Mayor Ron Nirenberg and County Judge Nelson Wolff released their report of recommendations and resources specifically for local businesses to reopen and operate safely within the parameters set by the State of Texas.

This economic addendum to the health report will help San Antonio and Bexar County businesses identify appropriate safety protocols to mitigate risk as they reopen.
