COVID-19 Recovery Grants for Small Businesses and Nonprofits

Financial Counselors, though the Financial and Housing Recovery Centers, assist residents with budgeting, debt management, credit report education, and helping residents to open a low-cost bank or credit account through Bank On San Antonio, etc.

Minor Repair Program

This program addresses items such as foundations plumbing, electrical, non-working utilities, broken windows, damaged doors or other items in need of repair. Up to $25,000 in repairs can be provided.

Owner Occupied Rehabilitation Program

The Owner Occupied Rehabilitation Program assists qualified homeowners to rehabilitate their substandard and non-code compliant residential properties by providing deferred forgivable loans to cover the cost of the needed repairs. These repairs focus on health and safety, accessibility, and major system concerns. The program can also address weatherization and energy savings.

Rent and Mortgage Help (Housing)

The Emergency Housing Assistance Program is designed to keep San Antonio residents housed through emergency financial hardship by providing up to three months of rent or mortgage payments.
