Texas Workforce Commission - Disaster Unemployment Assistance
If you lost your job or work because of this disaster, you may be able to apply for unemployment benefits.
Artist Relief Grant
$5,000 grants to artists facing dire financial emergencies due to COVID-19
Corona Arts Relief Program
Developed by the Department of Arts & Culture and Luminaria Artist Foundation, provides grants up to $600 for artists with lost revenues due to COVID-19
Foundation for the Contemporary Arts Emergency Grants COVID-19 Fund
$1,500 grants for artists who have had performances or exhibitions canceled or postponed because of the pandemic.
NALAC 2021 Actos de Confianza Relief Grants
Up to $5,000 grants for Latinx artists, cultural workers and arts organizations facing critical financial emergencies due to the impact of COVID-19.
NDN Collective Grant
Grants of up to $5,000 for Indigenous artists, entrepreneurs, small businesses uniquely affected by COVID-19.
PEN America
Grants up to $2,000 for professional—published or produced—writers in acute, emergency financial crisis.
Sweet Relief COVID-19 Fund
Funds for musicians and music industry workers affected by COVID-19

Tips to Drive Revenue/Donations via Your Online Event

Before developing your live-streamed or pre-recorded work through digital platforms, we encourage you to plan for connecting this event to a payment or donation capability (i.e. Venmo, PayPal, an existing Donate Link, etc.). Sample language you can use includes:

Tips for Promoting Your Event

Be sure to create a Facebook event for your online event and promote via all social media platforms available (Instagram, X, Facebook, etc.). Tag any arts related handles, including @getcreativesa, fellow artists/organizations, and any relevant media outlets.
